FHLB Boston is a wholesale
bank and quasi-governmental agency. Their purpose is to
lend money to member banks and to provide funding to New
England communities for affordable housing. Our task was
to first develop a solid strategy for them and then to
build a transactional Web site that addressed both audiences.
Although the Bank operated an existing Web site, it had
not been well exploited. The Bank wanted to create
an Internet delivery channel that would serve as an additional
communications vehicle providing member banks with information,
products, and services.

- Conducted competitive assessment and user interviews
with Bank personnel, member banks, and community developers
to define user requirements and target audience characteristics
- Developed a Web Strategy
- Designed the information architecture to support the
new requirements
- Developed their brand positioning for a compelling
creative design and relevant online messaging
- Designed a new look and feel to accurately reflect
the Bank's online brand
- Implemented a custom content management system
